Posicor, is a calcium channel blocker useful in cardiovascular conditions such as high blood pressure, hypertension, angina or heart pain and congestive heart failure. It was approved in 1997 by the FDA and manufactured by Hoffman-La Roche, Inc. Posicor was removed from the market in 1998 after causing at more than 200 deaths.
